#2862 Two 1/6 Plate Daguerreotypes of a husband and wife

Two very nice sixth plate(2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotypes of a husband and wife. Very sharp and clear, subtle facial tinting. Very interesting looking fabric on the gent's jacket/coat. Housed in a Mother-of-Pearl album type case, front cover hinge is weak and torn some at the top and bottom, clasp works. Both covers have one corner chip. CONDITION: both plates are in very good condition with tarnish as seen. Archival seals. $100.00
