#2870 1/6 Plate Daguerreotype of two sisters in a great pose

Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of two sisters in a great pose, one seated and the other possibly on a bench looking thoughtfully off to the side. The younger sister is holding something, possibly a purse or parasol. Housed in a full Bird & Grapes motif case with some wear and an original spine. CONDITION: the plate has been very quickly cleaned and is in excellent condition with no wipes, scratches. One barely seen brown spot up and to the right of the sister on the left, the scan didn't pick it up. Slight mat marks on the bottom left and right. New glass and an archival reseal. $475.00
