#3134 1/6 Daguerreotype, a bearded gentleman with his faithful dog

Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of a bearded gentleman with his faithful dog by his side. Housed in a nice full case with slight wear, with a very nice leather spine repair. CONDITION: the plate is in very good condition with several brown spots in the background around the man’s head, teeny mat marks on the left side. Some peripheral tarnish. I resealed the dag with a new glass and Filmoplast P90. $495
