Please reserve this date March 29, 2009 as our sponsor.
We cordially invite you to participate in our 21st Annual "Charities for Children, Inc." Adult Bowling Tournament
to be held on Sunday,
March 29, 2009, at Eastway Lanes. We hope to surpass last year’s money raised with the help of your donations. We
had over 131 sponsors and we raised a one year record setting total of $25,679.00 for 14 different Charities
for Children here in Erie .
Our 20-Year Grand Total: $180,262.00
We are incorporated and are 501(c)3
Corporate Sponsor: For a donation of $1,500.00 or more. Get your logo/name on the sleeve of our commemorative
T-shirt, which you and all the bowlers will receive. You will get your name on an alley and you may hang any of your own banners
at the bowling alley.
Tournament Sponsors: A donation of $200.00 will assure your logo on our commemorative T-shirt, and get your
name on an alley (available to the 1st 40 Sponsors). Corporate/Tournament Sponsors and all the bowlers will receive this
T-shirt. Your company name will also be listed on our tournament mailings and on our web site with a link to your web site
if one is available. If you are interested in becoming a tournament sponsor, please respond any time before March 7, 2009
to assure your logo is on our T-shirt. We will need a copy of your logo and a size for your free T-shirt along with a check
for your donation of $200.00. Upon receiving your donation we will send you an invoice indicating the amount donated.
Contributing Sponsors: A donation of your merchandise or gift certificates will help raise money through our C.C.B.
Auction and Door Prizes. We will send you an invoice, promote your business during the tournament and you will also be listed
on our web site. Please respond before March 12, 2009 to assure your company name is listed.
Don’t forget you can promote your business by donating a discount coupon to all or some of the bowlers.
Join our growing list of sponsors. Please call to let us know of your intent or send us a note. Gift certificates, checks,
and coupons may be sent to: Rick Makowski, 1738 W.24th St., Erie, Pa. 16502 or we can make arrangements to have items
picked up at your convenience.
If you or any of your employees (21yrs and older) would like to bowl, bowling applications will be sent out Jan. 2, 2009
or you can download them off our web site at http://mysite.verizon.net/rapnric/ccb/ when available.
Last year the 2pm shift sold-out in 2hrs.45min. We had a total sell-out of both shifts with over 400
bowlers.
There are two shifts, 10:30am and 2pm
100% of all money collected is donated to the Erie Area "Charities for Children,Inc."
