About RAPP:Who We Are:Residents Against the Power Plant is a volunteer group of concerned citizens who oppose the construction of a 300-megawatt, waste-coal burning power plant in Robinson Township. We are rural, suburban, and urban...parents and singles...housewives, businesspeople, and farmers...all of whom are alarmed by the prospect of introducing a toxin-producing facility into our backyards. Our membership is informal and open to everyone who wants to be more informed about the quality of the air and water where we live. Our Goal:We wish, simply, to keep our region as earth-friendly and healthy as possible by opposing the construction of the proposed plant. How You Can Help:Like all grass-roots organizations, it all begins with the words "Get Involved!". Attend local township meetings and ask questions. Attend an event and introduce yourself to other members. Join our discussion group and share your own experiences, research, and ideas!
