Ivy was originally born in the midwest, but spent her teenage years in
California. She graduated UC Santa
Barbara in 1995, and after one year living in Alaska spent five years
teaching in the San Francisco Bay Area. She just recently finished her
master's degree and works for the US Census Bureau. Rob was born and raised in New Jersey, and after graduating the US Naval Academy in 1994, has been on active duty as a Naval Officer ever since, specializing in construction and contract management. He traveled extensively with the US Navy Seabees. Rob enjoys learning new things, and is currently learning to play the drums. He has also studied hypnotism, sign language, and reflexology. He also is a published author, and enjoys reading and writing. He is currently assigned to Commander, Navy Installations Command, in Washington DC. Rob and Ivy met in 2004 through e-Harmony (believe it or not!) and were married in October 2005. They currently reside in Maryland. They have one little one, a beautiful baby girl named Kyla Eryn. |
