Welcome to
Worcester Hills Recorder Society.....
A Chapter of the American Recorder Society
The Worcester Hills Recorder Society was founded in 1995 by
several Worcester area recorder teachers to promote the playing and
enjoyment of recorders.  WHRS encourages players of all levels
from beginner to advanced to p
articipate in the society.
Worcester Hills Recorder Society is changing its format for 2009/2010.  Instead of monthly coached
meetings, we will be meeting for informal playing sessions and pot luck suppers. The dates
and
locations
of these meetings will be:

October 17, 2009 at Helen's house in Paxton, MA
January 10, 2010 at Madeline's house in Shrewsbury, MA
April 11, 2010 at Helen's house in Paxton, MA
June 13, 2010 at Helen's house in Paxton, MA

Each meeting will begin with a playing session from 2-5PM followed by a pot luck supper.  Please
RSVP to
Madeline at (508)842-5490 for January 10th and Helen at (508)795-7074 for April and June if
you plan to attend and also to get directions to
their houses. Bring several copies of your favorite 4 or
more part music to share with the group.

There will be no member dues for this year since we are not planning coached sessions.  However, if
anyone would like to arrange for an outside paid coach to come to any of the potluck meetings, please
contact Elise Clark (978)353-6882 to coordinate.

We invite you to join us for good music, good company and good food!!

All Low Intermediate to Advanced level players are also invited to attend our Annual Spring Workshop.

WHRS also offers performance opportunities for its Advanced and High Intermediate members at local
churches and area functions.
