In memoriam

It is with sadness I report the passing of another classmate.



Margery Lee McKeon

1938 – 2008
Margery Lee McKeon, 69, of Douglas Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island; a former North Attleboro resident; died on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Berkshire Place Nursing Center in Providence.

Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on October 1, 1938, Ms. McKeon was a graduate of North Attleboro High School. She later attended the Rhode Island School of Design and the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.

A resident of Providence for the past 7 years, she grew up on High Street in North Attleboro and resided in the Boston area for many years prior to moving to Rhode Island.

She was a self-employed graphic artist. She will be lovingly remembered as a talented artist and photographer. At one time she was employed by one of the major publishing houses in Boston.

She leaves a son: Christopher J. Chuter of Austin, Texas; a grandson: Willie Chuter of Austin, Texas; a sister: Martha Andrews of Cape Coral, Florida and a niece: Valerie Cutler of Cape Coral, Florida.

Burial in the family lot will follow in Newell Burying Ground, 1502 West Street, Attleboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ms. McKeon’s name may be made to the Women’s Lunch Place, 67 Newbury Street, Boston, MA 02116 or by accessing the organization at www.womenslunchplace.org .
