Contacting Us
To cancel an alarm dispatch, you must first have your Pass Code. Then call the CENTRAL STATION directly.
The Central Station is an independent company that monitors alarms for many dealers.
To reach Reliance Alarm Company's staff for billing, sales, repair service or operational assistance (after you talk to the Central station), call these numbers:
At The Office: 215-536-0396. This is usually your best shot. First leave a message, and then, if it's urgent, page us. We don't recommend going for the pager first (especially during the mornings Monday through Friday), because it does miss beeps in certain areas of our office. If you don't get a reply in fifteen minutes, page again and also consider some of the other choices below.
Other numbers you can use that are forwarded into this line are 800-241-1250, 215-357-3139 and 610-834-8182.
Emergency Pager: 1-800-584-1711. This toll-free number is limited to the 3-state area. If you don't get a live person when you call this number, press "5" during the welcome message and follow the prompts to leave your number. The pager is meant for urgent matters only. We have to rely on your wise decision as to what constitutes an emergency.
A technician will always be covering emergency service.
Lou's Cell Phone: 215-378-6588. Be advised the voice mail feature on this cell phone is NOT a general company mailbox. Your message could potentially linger there for several days. It is only there in case of an outage of the primary business line, in which case we use Verizon's Ultra-Call Forwarding to take incoming calls with one of our cell phones. (Lou also uses this phone while on vacation.) Always start with the number shown way up top, it's your best shot.
Lou at Home: 215-536-0903. A recorder will usually answer. If a person answers, it will likely not be Lou. Please call this number only between 7 AM and 10 PM unless it's an emergency and you have tried all of the above first. Telemarketers, this number is on the Pennsylvania "Do Not Call" list.
Our Fax: This is unlisted. If you have something to fax, call us for the number. After you get it, Please, NO broadcasts, and NO faxes between 10PM and 7AM. Telemarketers, if you find out what it is, this number is on the Pennsylvania "Do Not Call" list.
Email: YrelianZce.3{ a t } Yverizon.net . IMPORTANT: Remove the "Ys" and "Zs"! (They have been inserted to reduce robot-generated spam.) Someone usually checks the Email by mid-day during the week, but not necessarily every day. We check more often if we're expecting something particular or we get bored and want to wait for some "spam" to come in. It's hit or miss over the weekend, and might go unchecked for several days if we're on vacation. If you have a high-priority message, please use the office voice mail (top number above, 215-536-0396). If it's really urgent, page us. We will usually reply at least with a simple "OK" when we have opened your email. You might also want to select the option in your email program that requests a receipt when we have read your email. (In Outlook Express, click Tools, Request Read Receipt.)
Suggestion for Clients: Print this page and put it where you can find it in a pinch. Also, if you missed it, ask for our Summer 2006 Newsletter, which has a more detailed update on how to contact us in an emergency.
