Introduction:

My name is Rich and I live in Rancho Cucamonga, Alta Loma. I have lived here for 30 years. I'm retired from the business I started 30 years ago, PrimeTime Cable Inc. My company actually built the CATV system in Rancho Cucamonga and Alta Loma and many other cities in California. That includes placing all aerial, underground, joint trench cable in new tracts, splicing, and installing it to the home.

After retiring I decided to try something different and decided to go back to my roots, which included building homes in my earlier years in Colorado. I've been remodeling and working as a Handyman since 2001 and loving it. I work alone and have no employees. I've been down the employee road with PrimeTime, and employees I have tried just don't care and don't have the same work ethic, passion and enthusium I bring to the job. I also believe if you had time to do it right the second time, why was it not done right the first time?

Small Bathroom in Rancho Cucamonga

Another bathroom in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This bathroom was gutted to the studs and everything replace, new everything, replaced galvanized plumbing with new copper, new electrical, new drywall and all new Kohler tub, toilet and vanity. Installed new tile and new door.

The tile is actually a darker pink but I took these pictures with a very inexpensive digital camera. So the pictures look washed out. All the sink and light fixtures match and are made by the same manufacture.

Also built a custom cabinet for storage and display directly across from toilet.  Top has adjustable glass shelves and the cabinet counter is made with the same tiles that are on walls. Problem with Pedestal Sinks is there is no storage underneath them.

This is a 3 bedroom condo in Dana Point, right on the beach. Work performed on this project, phase 1: Scraped all popcorn off ceilings, ran electrical wiring to 4 new ceiling fan locations and finished with a light texture. Installed, wainscot and chair rail. Painted walls and ceilings and installed crown molding. Installed 6 new Solid 6 Panel Doors and Hardware, removed outdated Patio Sliders and replaced with 2 Andersen Patio Sliders and 1 Andersen French Door in the Master Bedroom. In my opinion Andersen makes the best doors hands down. Phase 2, remodel 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and remove dated mirrored closet doors, taking place at a later date.

All work on these projects was done entirely by me. I don't trust employees to adhere to the same standards and quality of work I place on myself. I'm very passionate about my work. All work is done as if I was remodeling my own home.
