In all, 26 episodes were produced by Ivan Tors, the producer of Sea Hunt and Flipper. Robert starred as Carter Primus, a global underwater troubleshooter. Will Kuluva costarred as his crusty, bewhiskered sidekick Charlie Kingman, along with Eva Renzi as his pretty assistant, Toni Hayden.
Primus had a slew of gadgets to help in his quest to tame the sea. They included an underwater robot called Big Kate, a little exploration and photography sub called Pegasus, and a nifty little runabout sea sled.
When fellow divers Casey and Bill get trapped in an undersea cave, Carter Primus and his beautiful assistant dive down to rescue them. But who will rescue Primus when Casey’s injuries cause delusions that tell him to kill Primus?Carter Primus and his assistant Tony take three young engineers on a training dive near an old wreck. When one of the men cuts his leg, a school of sharks forces the divers to take refuge inside the sunken hull. Will the Coast Guard reach them before the sharks? A young, but unmistakable Larry King appears as himself.
