Not the Palmdale, California we know now, but the failed Coachella Valley real estate development of 1888.  Palmdale came complete with a narrow gauge railroad called 'The Cabazon' that ran from the Southern Pacific line at Seven Palms Station along what is now Farrell Drive, to the site of today's Smoke Tree Ranch in Palm Springs.

Location:  Narrow gauge terminus South of Highway 111 at Farrell.
