Initiative, determination and dedication characterized the 53-year career in optometry and ophthalmology of Reynaldo J. Carreon, Jr.

Location:  The site of the former Carreon Rancho was the northwest corner of Monroe and Dr. Carreon Blvd.  The house was painted white with orange trim and featured old wagon wheels for fencing.  A few of the wheels were saved and can be found at the Mexican Gardens on the west side of the Coachella Valley Museum and Cultural Center.
