You are always welcome to make an appointment to bring your furniture to my workshop for evaluation and an estimate. Fabric <>Home decorating fabric usually comes in (about) 54 inch widths. The amount you need will depend on both the furniture style and the pattern of the fabric. Charts of yardage requirements for furniture often underestimate the amount needed-especially when your furniture is of a larger contemporary style or has a longer skirt than the sample on a chart. I offer washable fabrics for slipcovers such as denim (wide color choice), micro-suede, hemp, and organic cotton. I also offer a line of fringe and rope trim that is washable.
Foam is distinguished not only by firmness but by density (the amount of foam in a given volume). The higher the foam's density, the longer the foam will last and maintain its resiliency. My standard is to use high density (high quality) foam, whether you choose a soft- or firmer-feeling foam.
