( or . . . there's more to life than engineering )

I've been writing professionally and semi-professionally since 1999, although seriously since 2003.  Published articles have appeared in Sky and Telescope and The Griffith Observer.

I write primarily as an outlet for pent-up energy and thoughts, as a form of therapy one might say.  I find that this, combined with my T'ai Ch'i practice and music, have done much to keep my equilibrium during these stressful times.

I hope to expand my efforts to write about my experiences at JPL and my views on the space program, and to music and philosophical thoughts.

Here are some samples of the published versions of my writings:

A PDF file containing my article for the July 1999 issue of Sky and Telescope is available by contacting me through email.  Due to an agreement with Sky and Telescope I cannot post a link to it here.  The file is 375 Kbytes long.

The articles below were written for Griffith Observatory's monthly publication.
