I saw the SSR as a concept at the Los Angeles Car Show in 2001. I told my wife, "If they ever build them, I'm getting one." I took delivery on December, 12, 2003. Several months later, I found the SSR Fanatic Forum. There is a link on this page to the forum. If you're a new owner, the Fanatic Forum is a great site. We have an SSR get together about once a month and I've met a lot of really nice people. Check it out.

     You can see a list of the events I've attended on the SSR Events page. On most of our events we meet somewhere, usually a restaurant, and then take off on a cruise to somewhere for lunch. Our first event was a cruise to Palm Springs for a car show. Ten SSR's met at the Farmer Boys on Haven, and six continued on to Palm Springs. We had one weekend event in Kingsburg, which included a cruise night, a car show and a drive up through Kings Canyon and General Grant Parks. On our event at Irwindale Speedway, we had 50 SSR's and we got to take a lap around the track just before the race started.
