Archdeacon Brian, Bishop Timothy, Mother Sandy, Father Gary and Brother Ray

A Ministry dedicated to the care of the homeless, HIV/AIDS
patients, and the disenfranchised of the Tulsa area.

Jesus told us to love one another as He loved us. His
own life revealed His loving concern and compassion
for the poor, the sick, and the troubled. The leaper
isolated from society, the blind man alone in his
darkness, the frightened woman taken in adultery,
the thief condemned to a cross found in him care,
support, strength and love. He advised those who
wanted to follow Him to make their love as practical
and selfless as His own.
The Corporal and Spiritual
Works of Mercy are guidelines for Christian love.

Mercy Mission began through the charitable work of
Brother Raymond a member of the Reformed Anglican
Catholic Church. He is also a Novice in the Order of
Franciscans of Mt. Carmel.

Brother Raymond following the example of our
Lord Jesus Christ, applied the Works of Mercy
to his life. Then he began to reach out to those
in need in the Tulsa area.

We are a 501 (c) 3 non profit, tax exempt
church organization. Please contact Brother
Ray by email to make contributions or to be
a sponsor. Thank you.

Information on

"The AIDS Memorial Quilt"

We presently have eight thousand
12 x 12 sections of the quilt. Each
12 x 12 section holds eight panels.
This comes out to about sixty-four
thousand panels. Some panels have
as many as twelve to fifteen names
on them. However, many are just
individual panels. A rough guess
of seventy-five to eighty thousand
names are on the quilt. If you are
interested in making a panel please
go on line to http://www.aidsquilt.org

For Our Brothers and Sisters Who Are Fighting AIDS
Red Rose, Growing
We Are Remembering You in our Prayers

The year 2007 marks the 20th Anniversary of the founding
of the AIDS Memorial Quilt and to honor this important
occasion we are asking our friends around the country
to join us in thinking BIG. We have set a very ambitious
goal of getting every block, every panel of the 54-ton
AIDS Memorial Quilt out on display for World AIDS Day
2007. With 47,000 panels sewn into almost 6,000 12 foot
by 12 foot blocks, this ia a huge undertaking but with
your help, we can blanket the country with love,
understanding, and compassion, and we can save
lives.

In the past, we have made history by displaying
the entire Quilt in our nation's capital, Washington,
D.C. This year we want to send The Quilt not to one
community, but to hundreds, even thousands of
communities across the country. It is not enough
to wait for others to come to us, to travel to us,
we have to come to you and with your help we
can.

Hosting The Quilt at your school is a way that
you can make a real difference.

A recent study found that after visiting a
Quilt display 76% of students felt The Quilt
made them consider their own risk for HIV
infection and nearly 90% of students said
they would be more likely to protect
themselves.

Your college can host a substanital display
of The AIDS Memorial Quilt...25 12 x 12 foot
sections....for as little as $2,500 plus shipping
costs. A display of this size will include more
than 200 individual 3 x 6 foot panels that each
tells a story of life cut short by AIDS.You can
also host a single Quilt Block for $500 plus
shipping! The most democratic memorial ever
created, your display of The Quilt might include
panels for a Fireman from Miami or a child from
Atlanta alongside those for rap star Eazy-E,
Queen's Freddie Mercury, artist Keith Haring
or Pedro Zamora, from MTV's Real World.

There is no more powerful way to honor the
decades of work and sacrifice members of
the LGBT community have made in the struggle
to end HIV/AIDS while driving home that fact, the
threat of HIV/AIDS can happen to anyone, anywhere,
at any age than by hosting a display of The Quilt.
I know you understand that The Quilt with its
teddy bears and Boy Scout badges, wedding rings
and photographs transforms statistics into souls,
loss into hope, and indifference into understanding.

Please make a commitment today to join us
this World AIDS Day by clicking and completing
a display application here.

Thanks for your care and commitment to
to finding a cure for HIV/AIDS.

On the campus of Texas A&M University,
in the Chapel of All Faiths, it was my
deepest pleasure to serve my God as
Acolyte and Server to Bishop Timothy
and to the now ordained Mother Sandy
Roegner.

It was a delightful and moving experience
for all who attended the Ordination. I also
was Mother Sandy's server for her First
Mass at the home of a friend on Sunday.

We both look forward to the flowering
and blooming of our ministeries in
Oklahoma and in Texas.
