For nearly a decade, my professional life has revolved around three central topics: adult education, communications theory and practice, and instructional technology. This journey has brought me into contact with a wealth of fascinating people and compelling ideas, as well as new fields of thought. Though I cannot claim to have made sense out of everything that crossed my path, every day that passes brings more into focus and adds more depth to my belief that no particular field in isolation holds the answers to the organizational challenges facing companies, academic institutions, or society in general. Both as a professional and as a member of society, and even as a husband and father, I seek solutions that blur boundaries and synthesize new ideas to bring about positive change.
