Tami
has been a licensed massage therapist since 2002. She is one of
a very small handful of local massage therapists who have met
the additional educational requirements to obtain licensures and
certifications with both the National Certification Board of
Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the California
Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC).
Her initial education was completed at Lu Ross Academy in Ventura
and her continuing education has been completed at several recognized
schools in Southern California including the Touch Therapy Institute,
Halsa Massage School, and A2Z Health. She continues to take advanced
courses to expand her knowledge in massage and bodywork.

satisfying the requirement for hours of education and passing
an extensive written exam covering the full spectrum of massage
and bodywork knowledge, Tami became nationally certified in
2007 with the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage
and Bodywork. More recently, Tami became recognized as a certified
massage therapist in the state of California through the California
Massage Therapy Council.
Tami
has worked with local and well-respected chiropractors and alternative
medicine doctors and has also worked in fitness centers. Her clients
range from and include retirees, housewives, farmers, teachers,
business owners, police officers, doctors, actors and lawyers
and everyone in between.
Tami
was honored with an AA degree from Moorpark College in the fall
of 2010, graduating with honors and a 3.7 GPA. She is a licensed
phlebotomist, having received her phlebotomy education at UCLA.
In her continuous pursuit toward helping others and with an insatiable
desire for learning about the body, Tami is a pre-nursing major,
waiting to be accepted in the nursing program at CSUCI or Moorpark
College. Once accepted into the nursing program, she will continue
to provide massage therapy services while working toward her degree.
