Moshi is one of the primary cities at the base of Kilmanjaro and the place we began the odyssey.  We left the States on a Monday, arrived in Moshi on Wednesday night, after about 22 hours of flying time.  We spent a night in New Jersey that was supposed to be for visiting family, but our quality time was used buying new underwear and hiking socks when the duffle with our sleeping bags never appeared.
