Surprise # 7 : The upgrade.
At one point during our sail we were told that our accomodation on Hamilton Island had been upgraded. We had
reserved a Palm Bungalow, the cheapest type of room on the island, and were a little bummed that we were "upgraded" from
a quaint bungalow to a regular hotel.
We walked into our room on the 14th floor, overlooking the islands and the Coral sea and never mentioned the bungalow
again.
(It is Tanya's personal belief that this room was sent from the gods to compensate for the 25 knot winds and 6 foot swells.
She continues to make offerings of thanks.)
