Christopher mitchell |

Mr. Christopher Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with an emphasis on Social Sciences from the California State University San Marcos. He also holds a Single-Subject Teaching Credential from the College of Education at CSUSM. He made the Dean’s list six times while at CSUSM and Palomar Community College. He is currently working on his Masters in History at CSUSM. He is a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the Honor Society for History Majors, and has presented various papers in conferences in the Southern California area. Prior to the dotcom crash, Mr. Mitchell, a self-described “dotcom refugee” worked for ten years in software development and computer related fields. Mr. Mitchell is an honorably discharged veteran who served as an infantryman in West Germany from 1997 through 1990. The experience of the last few years of the Cold War and the initial phases of Freedom for millions of East Europeans is a unique perspective Mr. Mitchell brings to his lectures and overall classroom experience. Mr. Mitchell is a 6th generation California who was born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley and moved to Southern California in the mid-1980’s. |
