Discovering my Lost Innocence

I have decided to “write” this journal in a language of “images” rather than words. After all, it was pictures, videos and images that connected me to veganism from the start.

A path that lead me to rethink the way I thought I was treating animals and what I was actually doing to them.

We were all taught to respect

animals – to treat them with

kindness and care.

Animals Are Our Friends

We learned so much from them – so much with them! They taught us through lullabies and fairytales. They helped us grasp a “fuzzy touch”, and to comprehend peek-a-boo”. We learned colors, numbers and the alphabet with them.

They taught us life lessons – Through their adventurous tales we learned of sharing, honesty and loyalty.

Throughout childhood they were our constant companions. They were part of our family and part of the mysterious wonders of the world we explored.

They became part of our psyche.
