Club Booth
The Bixby family will be coordinating the building of the Club Booth for the County Fair this year. There will be a sign up at the May meeting for those who wish to help design the Club Booth, which we will build in July at Peterson’s.
Memorial Day Parade
If we have a parent interested in coordinating this, the 4H clubs throughout the County are always asked to be part of the Memorial Day Parade. Coordinating would include recruiting and organizing.
Prairie Days
Hudson Ag 4-H has been once again asked to host a table at Prairie Days. Face Painting, Tattoos, Trivia Games, whatever! If we have a parent/member interested in coordinating this, please let Laurie know. We have been a part of the Prairie Days event for years.
We also need a family to volunteer to coordinate the Prairie Days Float.
Duck People! The rules have been
written on our project for the fair. Each of you will be required to do one
Poster for display on something duck related. This can be in addition to the
other projects that you might be doing that are duck related. Or even a replica
of a poster you might be doing for another fair project. These posters will be
displayed in the Poultry Barn. Here are some examples:
Feathers
Flying
Breeds
Waterfowl
Duck Calls
Recipes
Wildlife/Natural Resource
Incubation
