Things to Know:
·
Feel the need to lead?
There is NO Hudson Ag 4-H without parent, family and member
involvement in the activities. Please volunteer when you can and help out with
the many things we do throughout the 4H year.
·
Jr. Leaders and Officers, besides being involved in the monthly meetings,
are also asked to coordinate a workshop or club activity or community service.
·
Refreshments The first name listed on refreshments needs to
coordinate the items for that night. YOU WILL NEED TO STAY AFTER THE MEETING
TO HELP CLEAN UP.
·
Set-Up Families should show up one half hour before meeting times.
SET-UP ALSO INCLUDES BREAKDOWN AND CLEAN UP
·
It is suggested that a 4-H T-shirt is purchased for every member
and project leader to be worn during community service activities and 4-H
activities. These can be purchased through the club. New Members will be asked
to purchase T-shirts. The cost is $5 for new orders.
·
Club demonstrations and presentations will focus on the “how-to”
process again this year.
FAIR PREMIUM CHECKS ARE HERE! Please come to the August and
September Meetings and pick them up. If you are not at the meeting, checks will
be returned to the Extension Office and you will need to make arrangements with
them for pick-up. MEMBERS MUST pick the checks up and sign for them, not
their parents

Proposed Goals for
2007-2008
1) Challenge our Club work on some
basic meeting fundamentals such as appropriate process for demonstrations,
project standards and working parliamentary procedures.
2) Theme for 2007-2008 is
establishing a Recycling Program. Will include personal, club and community
aspects.
3) Developing club’s depth by
working on awareness and involvement of County and State 4-H Opportunities.
4) Choose a Charity of our Choice
to donate funding and possibly volunteer activities.
5) Group Activities – both
educational and recreational. At least one of each this year.
Please come to meeting prepared to
discuss this slate of officers and goals. If you are interested in being part
of Hudson Ag Leadership please let Laurie or an officer know at the meeting.
