Special Donation Opportunity

OOPS!

We missed the deadline to be a part of “4-H Can Make a Difference Day”. However, we haven’t missed the opportunity to make a difference.

A 4-H member suggested that we collect new or gently used childrens’ items for the waiting room of the Cancer Treatment Center. They could use books, small toys, small hand held games, crayons, pencils, coloring books, card games…you get the idea.  Bring them to the March meeting and get a treat, and a very big thank you for Making a Difference.

Raptors!

Bring your family with you to this month’s 4-H meeting. The Illinois Raptor Society will be doing a “Raptor 101” program for us this month. Clover Buds and their families are also invited. We’ll have a full house and a full agenda, so please be on time!

Wow! We had a surprise at the February meeting. Captain Scott Shelbourne, from the Salvation Army showed up to give Hudson Ag 4-H the 2005 Bell Ringer Award! We won the Award for highest dollars collected by a youth group. This was the first year for this award. We now have the traveling trophy in our Awards Cabinet. Our club will forever be the first (AND BEST) name engraved on the award.  Thank you to all who signed up and rang those bells in the cold cold weather.
