AG 4-H
Yes,
it’s that time, folks! Just in case you missed the flyer, this month is 4H
Family Pizza Party Night.
Be
at the Town Hall at 6 pm. The ENTIRE family is invited. We ask for $3 per
person for pizza, pop and set-ups. Please bring a dish to share. We’ll have
some silly games and a nice evening to visit with our families and friends.

ICE Fishing
Well,
if the weather finally gets cold this weekend, and winter stays around, we’ll
plan on Sunday, February 1st from 1 – 3 pm for Ice Fishing at
Peterson Pond. You can still sign up at the Pizza Party. We’ll be asking some
of our alums and older 4H members to supervise this.
We
will have some fishing poles, but if you have your own and an extra, that would
be great.

Program
Every year, Hudson Ag 4H does a small “talent”
show for the Super Seniors luncheon on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This year,
we will also be making lunch for them.
So, we will need members to help make lunch at the
Town Hall, and then members to be part of the program.
For the program, you can play an instrument, show
a fair project, share some art project, read a poem, etc. Whatever you would
like to share with the seniors for a few minutes. We will need about 5 members
to volunteer for the talent show. Signs ups for the cooking and for the talent
show will be at the Pizza Party. Don’t forget to sign up for one or both.

N Learn
Learn
& Fun Day is a County-Wide activity Day, and a great way to learn about
possible fair projects. If you did not get the Extension Newsletter, go on-line
and check out the opportunities.www.mcleanextension.org
This
is Saturday, January 17th at Heartland College. Registration is only
$5 for up to 4 workshops. I really would encourage newer and younger members to
try some of these workshops.

If
you haven’t signed up, make sure you do at the Pizza Party. We are trying to
get a good idea on how many will be going so we have enough help. Talk to
Ericka Kuchenmeister or her dad if you have any question.

Workshops
We’ll
be setting up a workshop day for some time in March or April. We’ll try to have
8 to 10 different project areas offered. Have any ideas or special requests:?

Trip
We’ll
also be setting up a field trip for warmer weather. More on that in February.
