Caleigh Graeber is moving from Corresponding Secretary to Co-Leader of the Clover Buds. At the last meeting, we asked if anyone was interested in replacing her as a club officer and Kaitlin Costello has volunteered. We will need to vote and approve Kaitlin as our new officer at the March Meeting.

Volunteer Sign Ups at the March meeting

4 Kids By Kids – Need a family or two to coordinate this fundraiser

Garage Sale – Pam Kuchenmeister chairs this. We will need three or four adults to help with publicity, creating the maps, etc. It’s just a few hours of work each.

Birthday Committee – We have a few signed up. Would like to see some more teens on this committee to help direct our plans for the 2004-2005 75th birthday extravaganza

Taste of Home Helpers – We could use about 5 more people to sign up to help us stuff bags for the Taste of Home Event.

4KIDS BY KIDS

We want to have a successful garage sale this year. Please start putting aside  items you would be willing to donate to our club for the May 1st Garage Sale.  We want to focus on children/youth items – clothes, toys, books.  The coordinator for this project will have details at the April meeting on how we’ll pull this all together. The garage sale and 4Kids By Kids will be our BIG fundraiser this year .

WORK SHOP SIGN UPS

We plan on having a workshop day on Saturday, April 3rd.  For new members who have never been to our workshops, here’s the scoop:

We will have anywhere from 4 to 10 workshops that day.  The workshops last for up to two hours each, depending on what it is. You will work on a fair project or learn something about a project area. Most of the workshops are free. Some might have a small fee or you will have to buy materials. You can sign up for up to 4 workshops, depending on your interest and the timing.

The probable workshops will be:

            Food Preservation

            Rabbit Handling

            Kites (Aerospace)

            Cooking or Baking

Visual Arts – 1 or 2 different selections

            Flower Arranging

            Electricity

            Stuffed Animals

            Horticulture (Terrariums?  Herb Garden?)

            Entomology

            Latch Hook

By the March meeting we will have the choices finalized and there will be sign-ups out for you.
