Missing your project books? Please let Laurie know ASAP if you have signed up and not received your books yet. We have some missing registration forms and we need to verify that your registration went through.
AND if you signed up for Wildlife, I have a project sheet of yours that came in late.
All of you who did Demonstartions in February, I just want to say - THANK YOU! What a great job!
Let’s see if we can get all of the demonstrations wrapped up in March. Rememver, this is an important part of the Standsards of Excellence for 4-H.
If any parent has turned in the documents needed to apply for the $500 donation from State Farm because of the volunteer work being done for 4-H, please let Laurie Peterson or Robin Siebert know so that we can do some follow up with the Extension Office. As you know, we are hoping to be able to capture some of that money this year for our club for our 75th birthday activities.

For new members, here is how the Workshops go.
We will have Sign Ups at the March meeting for all of these workshops.
The workshop will either be one where you complete a project for the Fair, get
help on a project you might be working on, or get you started on a fair project.
Even if you are NOT signed up for any of these on your registration form but
would like to come to the worshshop, please do. They’re fun and educational.
Plus, you can always add something to your registration if you think you would
like to do the project for the Fair.
The workshops last between an hour and a half and two hours, depending on the
project. Some might require a fee or you might have to provide your own
materials. The sign up sheet will let you know who is leading the workshop and
what you will need to bring with you.
They’re lots of fun and a great way to learn more about 4H projects.
Parents – This is a great time to volunteer! We need leaders and
helpers with these workshops. Are if you have some other “talent” you would
like to share, call Tracy Saufley (726-2212) or Laurie (1185) and we can work
it into the schedule!
Sunday, April 17th
This is a special workshop being offered to us by Boys Club and Michaels Arts Store. For $2 you will receive a rocket kit. You will just need to provide glue. We will have the workshop at the Town Hall and our “experts” on aerospace will be there to help you start your own model rocket. This is a great opportunity for new rocketeers. Hudson Ag has a long history of Aerospace involvement.
