Our
project with Hudson Elementary is now off and running. Jose Saufley will give
us an update at the meeting on how many trees we have already saved just be
helping to recycle paper.
MORE RECYCLING
Do you received
those cool cards that play music when you open them and you don’t know what to
do with them? If you’re willing to part
with them, please bring them to the November and Devemeber 4H meetings. We’re
workign on a service project that would incorporate recylying the music from
those cards with homemade paper. A double whammy recycling project!
Other Recycling we are doing
Christmas ornaments at our workshop
this month are being made out of recycled items.
We will be making bird feeders out
of recycled items at the Decemeber meeting
We
will be building recycling bins for our homes and for donations to seniors at
the February meeting
Camping
Thanks fo all who
helped at the camping trip this past month. It was a great success. Beautiful
weather and a nice gathering. We had 36 overnight campers with about another
“fair – weather campers” joining to help out with meals and activities!
T-Shirts – Last Call – If you haven’t signed up for T-Shirts,
you have until the November meeting to do so. I will place the order that week,
and we should have delivery for all of the December events coming up – Parents
Night Out, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, Love Baskets, etc.
Upcomig Events
