Independence
Introduction
“The end of man
is knowledge, but there is one thing he can’t know. He can’t know whether
knowledge will save him or kill him. He will be killed all right, but he can’t
know whether he is killed because of the knowledge which he has got or because
of the knowledge which he hasn’t got and which if he had it, would save him."
Robert Penn Warren, All the King’s Men.
Knowledge wisely applied leads to independence. This fact is called leadership. Individuals are independent. Groups are inter-dependent. Knowing these facts and being wise about this knowledge leads the individual on his own self-determined path. That self-determined individual path is the path to independence and liberty. Along the path, once the individual begins the journey, are clear and present dangers not the least of which is falsehood. Falsehood must be defeated each step of the way along the path to liberty. Failure in the battle against falsehood diverts the independent individual off the path, sends the self-determined leader backwards, or worse. Falsehood destroys life. Falsehood kills.
Knowledge, like any other life sustaining energy, can be transferred from one independent individual to the next. Each self-determined individual traveling along the path to liberty has both opportunity and liability during each exchange of life sustaining energy being transferred from individual to individual, from individual to group, and from group to individual. No one besides the individual stands in place to choose between opportunity and liability; only the individual can decide. The individual leads or the individual chooses to be directed, controlled, and to assume liabilities that are not opportunities. Falsehood dictates otherwise. Dependence is false because responsibility is individual. Accountability is either true or false. A person is responsible and known to be responsible or not; if not then the unknown responsibility is a failure in accountability; falsehood.

Knowledge is individual like responsibility. Accountability is individual too. People can share these life sustaining powers. People can also be selfish and greedy. An individual can use falsehood to create opportunity when knowledge is a liability. An unwary individual can fall into a trap along the road to liberty. It pays to be wise. It helps to share knowledge. Knowledge has value. Shared knowledge helps everyone even when sharing is difficult or less profitable in the short term.

Some people know that God exists and in the end we all face up to every responsibility. Accountability and responsibility become one. Meanwhile as we travel the road to liberty it is not so clearly defined. Falsehood gets in the way.
The above language (words and illustrations) intends to prepare the reader for a new discovery. The discovery will not be found in any existing books so far as my ability to gain such knowledge. I am the retard pictured above. So far as I now know; the discovery dies when I die. I will endeavor now to pass this discovery on to whomever has an interest in liberty and to those who are curious enough to listen. Next up on the list of things to do is discovery.
