To whom it may concern:

This is the opening statement intended to direct a new beginning in human interaction. Please don't be alarmed. The only authority in this new government is you. If responsibility is alarming then you are suffering in the grips of falsehood. Open Source Government intends to defeat falsehood. The only authority is, and always has been, accurate perception earned in the process of defeating falsehood. Open Source Government intends to process accurate perception.

Example:

Joe Kelley, one individual, intends to process accurate perception during a specific task. I am Joe Kelley, a simple human being trying to be honest, and my specific task in to conduct a campaign for Federal office in congress - California 40th district House of Representatives. My intention is to document the process and open this source of government by the people (me) and for the people (me) to you and anyone for consideration, review, estimate, refinement, rejection, or ignorance.

My example begins Open Source Government. Your example will either add to or subtract from Open Source Government. Once you know the meaning of responsibility there can be no turning back - there is only responsibility - hiding behind falsehood will not alter the fact.

Warning: No rational human being can continue to live from this moment forward without noticing imminent danger. The danger may be more or less imminent. The danger exists. Our human race is in danger, more or less, despite any effort to ignore or marginalize the ultimate and absolute fact. If the danger is great, then, ignoring the danger will cost the human race a heavy toll in death and misery. If the danger is not great, then, ignoring the danger will not cost the human race a heavy toll in death and misery. Finding out if the danger is great is necessary, just in case, the danger is great and finding out if the danger is great is necessary, just in case, a heavy toll in human death and misery can be avoided. The warning is simple: Heed.

Open Source Government proposes to: Heed. Open Source Government intends to process information in an accurate manner to separate fact from fiction and thereby warn the human race concerning actual imminent danger. This beginning salvo, this version of Open Source Government, intends to offer a starting point and a possible path ahead in defense against a possible imminent danger. Open Source Government intends to publish one viewpoint to begin the process of improving human perception concerning real future dangers.

My example proposes to go further than diagnosis. My version of Open Source Government intends to offer a prognosis. During my example of Open Source Government, as the process develops, it may become abundantly clear, even to the most skeptical, that our human situation is in dire jeopardy and, at the same time, our human situation is uniquely capable of incredible civilized human progress.

Too many words dilute the message. It is time for action.
