Government in any form controls energy in any form. Government instructs the flow of energy on specific paths. The paths that pass the instructions governing energy can be in the forms of language, wire, radio waves, fiber optics, sound waves, written text, circuits, grids, networks, roads, tracks, water, air, bridges, hubs, switches, meetings, stations, walkways, tunnels, highways, freeways, pipes, lines, etc. The instructions flow in the form of currency. A governor sends the instructions in the form of currency and the instructions travel along the path to control the energy for a specific purpose. If the Governor does not control the energy, then, the governor does not send any instructions. When the Governor controls the energy, then, the Governor sends instructions, in the form of currency, along the path, to instruct or govern the energy to perform a specific task.
Above are colored lines that indicate the paths used by governors to send instructions, in the form of currency, instructing energy toward specific tasks.
Example: A Governor in the form of a thermostat will send instructions, in the form of electric current, along a path, in the form of wires, to perform the task of turning up the heat.
Example: A Governor in the form of an absolute dictator will send instructions, in the form of currency (money, threats, ultimatums, dictates, etc.), along a path (meetings, assemblies, Television broadcasts, etc.), to perform the task of turning up the heat (Exterminate the natives, Jews, Mormons, Terrorists, etc.) P.S. Don't forget to torture them first.
Note: The Governor can't send instructions to those who self-govern; that path is closed.
Note: The equal sign is not meant to be an equal sign. It is meant to be a two way street. People who self-govern can negotiate, or not, at liberty with others (the collective group called others) and so long as that equals sign remains in place, then, self-governors can remain at Liberty. People who cannot recognize the equal sign belong on the right side of the chart. I didn't put them there and the criminals didn't put them there; but that is where they belong.
I used colors to signify relative values of good, as governed by me where, what I consider to be no good, is on the right (black for no other reason than it is very obvious) while green (I am part Irish) signifies good on the left. Good paths, good currency, good government, good control of energy; hard work. Blue and Red work out in the middle area. The center is grey. Actually I truly believe that the center is not at all grey, instead, the center is a thin blue line where those who can act with restrained violence do so effectively in the effort to keep the bad guys away from the good guys. The ones who err in that job die or step into the bad side and hopefully they learn to not repeat their mistakes. If they fail, then, god help us.
Meanwhile people wander around on the chart from day to day. Most everyone is in the middle. Sometimes things go very, very wrong.
Example: If energy runs out, then, no one eats.
Example: If the paths are broken then only some people eat.
Example: If the currency disappears then production slows way down and fewer people eat.
It is important to keep an eye on the energy supply. It is important to know what inspires other human beings to be energetic.
For example: Punishment can inspire people to be energetic. Punishment is a good currency like debt; if you like punishment and debt.
