new totally revised third edition of the Cruising Guide to Belize and Mexico's Caribbean Coast, including Guatemala's
Rio Dulce provides all the detailed piloting information you'll need for safely navigating these pristine

Although we have gone to great lengths to make our charts and directions as accurate as possible, we know there are bound
to be changes. When we first sailed this coast in 1984, we were shocked and dismayed at the lack of accurate nautical
charts and sailing directions available. Many of the charts were on a scale much too large to be useful by small pleasure
boats entering harbors and anchorages. To make matters worse, the government charts of this area are still based on surveys
completed in the mid-1800's. It is not unusual for small islands to disappear and sand bars to shift after a major storm or
hurricane. We welcome your suggestions, comments, additions, ammendments or questions.
