| Early morning ballooning |
|
|
| We fly early in the morning when winds are most calm and thermals are not present. |

Welcome to Serenity Balloon Team's website! It is important to
realize that our ballooning is strictly for fun, and not a business venture.
Serenity was manufactured in 1996 and stands as tall as a six-story building!
We've been flying our balloon since early 1997. Our balloon carries a pilot and up to three crew persons at
a time. Typical flights involve two or three "hops" of about 30 minutes each, with crew person changeouts
occuring after each "hop". Our goal is to safely fly as many of our crew as is reasonable, considering the day's flying
conditions.
For more information about our ballooning activities, and how you may join in those activities, you
may contact us at cc.silverman@verizon.net or call us at 714.842.0583.

We have a few photos
on this and the following couple of pages, but we have lots of photos, including video, in our
photo album. The album includes general photos from our local ballooning, and also photos taken at some of the
other venues at which we have flown. Video clips from Las Vegas, Albuquerque, and Ripon can be accessed at those specific
sites by clicking on the proper navigation site.

On this site you'll find information about our activities and our crew, along with important information you will need
if you plan to join us for a balloon outing. We hope you will find all of the information you are looking for and decide to
be a participant in our ballooning adventures.
Our primary area for flying is in Perris, CA, however we also fly in Palm Springs, in Paso Robles, and, on occasion,
in Temecula. We have participated in a number of balloon events, including Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta
(six times), Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classic (seven times), Big Skyfest/Magic City Balloon Rally in Billings, Montana
(four times), Laughlin Nevada Riverflight (twice), BalloonaPalooza in Las Vegas (twice), Color the Skies in Ripon, CA, once, and
the Great Forest Park Balloon Race in St. Louis, Missouri (once). We have also flown in Truckee, CA; Illinois;and Texas.
Last updated: July 3, 2009
What's New: We've added a nine minute video of the March 1, 2009 Perris balloon flight.
This is an abbreviated version of the full one hour video that those participating on March 1 received. It's in the
photo album section.
We've made some changes and additions to our "Out of Town" activites section and we've added the GPS coordinates of our Perris launch site (see ACTIVITIES page) to help new people find
it without having to take a driving tour of Perrs.
All of our videos are now on the site. They can be accessed from our home page navigator,
or from any of the venues where we've flown (accessible form the photo album navigator). We also have all still photos
up to and including January 2009 in the photo album. Going to our photo album, you can view a few of the still photos,
as well as a short video, taken in Switzerland, ballooning with Buddy Bombard in January 2009.
We have updated, for 2009, adult and minor liability release forms. If you did not
recently sign a 2009 release, please bring up the form, read carefully, sign, and bring it with you when you next come ballooning
with us. A signed form is necessary for you to participate, even if you never want to fly in the balloon.
