The evening before the great "Race", we participated in a "balloon glow" in Forest Park. This was our first (and
to date, only) time participating in a glow.

The Forest Park Balloon Race is an afternoon event, and it is one of very few times that we have flown in the late afternoon.
We attended this event at the suggestion of Phil Callahan, whom I have known since we were both about 12 years old.
Phil hosted us in our St. Louis stay, and arranged for local balloon crew. If you've had an opportunity (or you've been
coerced into watching) any of the videos of Serenity in Albuquerque (1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001) you've had a chance to see
some of the fabulous video and video editing that Phil has done for us.
Well, he also did some video during our flight in St. Louis. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to fly,
in a balloon, over a major metropolitan area, this video is for you.
