The Toronto Still Seeking Summerlee event
had issued a challenge:

Summerlee in Your Fic?
As part of the Still Seeking Summerlee event
we held a fanfic competition. The only requirements was that Professor Arthur Summerlee appeared in the fic, and that it wasn't
already posted anywhere else.
Deadline for submissions was April 30th,
the voting booth was open until May 13, 2004. The
challenge was open to the whole TLW community, attendance at the Still Seeking Summerlee event wasn't a prerequisite. No word
or page limit -- anything was fair as long as Arthur Summerlee is in it.
