Vacation 2004
|
|
As you probably know, we've done quite a bit of traveling this summer, especially during the end of
August and September. A lot of things happen outside of Washington that we wanted to be a part of. Here's some
snap shots taken during our travels.... and a little bit more.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

RELATIVES, RELATIVES,
AND MORE RELATIVES!

The greatest part about our vacation
was that we got a chance to visit so many relatives. It's so nice to catch up on old times and get the update on what
everybody else is up to! It really is a rare opportunity to see a lot of family so we took advantage of being in Southern
California to do just that!

** CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE **
We had a great time with our Auntie Estella, Uncle Sam, Lolo and Grandma at California
Adventure! We got to see many Disney characters up close and get cool containers (buckets) for our birthday at Ariel's
Grotto. We weren't even scared to ride the Merry Go Round and Ferris Wheel! Look, Daddy even got a picture with
Ariel.

We had so much fun looking at all the sea animals.
We saw dolphins, otters, seals, flamingos, sharks, penguins, manatees, rays, and Shamu. We even got a chance to play
with the sea stars. That was so much fun we didn't want to leave!

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
We were able to visit Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco during one of our
visits in Northern California. We could always rely on the SF cool weather greeting us in the morning. During
our Pier 39 visit, we were able to see the famous seals and at Ghirardelli Square, we stayed clear way from the 10 lb chocolate
bar but couldn't resist coming out with 5 small slabs of the bulk chocolate!

yummy, yummy food. I think we gained weight during this vacation! Because you welcomed us into you're home, we're
happy to do the same. Come visit us when you want to visit the beautiful Northwest."
