This year we thought we'd try to go trick-or-treating at our local mall,
Bellevue Square. WOW! Halloween night is not the night to lose your kid in the mall! The mall corridors
were packed with kids and parents.
Below is my view of pros and cons of mall trick-or-treating.
Pros: *Warmth - Don't have to worry about rain, cold weather and darkness.
*Less candy - Won't need to worry about who's gonna eat all of it. * Various kid activities - In addition
to trick-or-treating there are other activities kids could enjoy. * Restrooms and eateries are readily available
Cons: * Super crowded - Although you won't have to worry about your
kid getting hit by a car, you have to be super alert not to lose your kid in the crowd * Less chocolate - As a lover of chocolate
(and the person who will actually eat the girl's candy) I noticed the girls were getting a lot of hard candy - which I'm not
particularly fond of.
