I am sorry for the miscommunication about performing at the Playoff game. I told the girls that we might get the opportunity
to dance if we made it to playoffs. I just wanted the team to be prepared if we did get a chance to perform, that is why we
practiced the Pom routine and why I decided to tell the girls we might be having try-outs on Wednesday. I have learned that
playoff games are very different and they are on a tight schedule. I am sorry for getting everyone's hope up,
but this a great opportunity to show the community who we are and we get another chance to been seen. The school district
is paying for us to attend the game and we need to be grateful that we get the chance to come as a team and support our
football team. Mrs. Land

Playoff Game Pumpkin Roll Effect
Everyone With football being in the
playoffs on Saturday at 8p we have to adjust pumpkin roll production. We will not know exactly what we are doing until the
first part of the week (we have to check with the cafeteria and the school) before we finalize the plan. We are hoping
to start making pumpkin rolls on Friday right after plastic wrap between 6p and 630p. We will work until 130a and then
another group can start at 530a Saturday morning and work until 130p. Everyone needs time to get ready for the football
game. If we have all the pumpkin rolls made then the only thing we have to do on Sunday is clean up and boxing. We will start
at 10a. If we aren't done baking we will continue that on Sunday again starting at10a and go until 830p or when we finish. If
you signed up to work a shift after 1p on Saturday you need to either move to an earlier shift on Saturday, to Friday night
or to Sunday. The web site is adjusted for this new plan but may be adjusted one more time depending on if we can
work on Friday night. Attached is a spreadsheet of where everyone signed up so far. Please resign up if you are on one
of the later shifts. Thanks for being flexible. Thx...Karen

Team Dinner Info October 14 at Alissa's
(see Calendar page for more info.)
Hello everyone! Just a friendly reminder to all y'all wonderful Lady Royale gals
that they owe $5 for the team dinner on Wednesday. Please RSVP with the evite.
Also, girls need to bring
their big/little sis gifts to the dinner because we will be exchanging gifts there. Here is all the information from the
evite: (in case you didn't already know)
Hi Parents:
This Wednesday, Oct.14th, the officer mothers will host our football
team dinner. This is for the team only and will last about an hour and half.
The menu will be catered by Babes
Chicken. The cost is $5.00 per girl. The officer's moms will be covering the rest of the bill, dessert, drinks and paper
goods.
Please have your daughter bring $5.00 to school on Monday and give the money to Alissa. I also need you to confirm
that your daughter will be there for this dinner. It is the only one that is being held in 2009, and attendance is crucial.
Mrs. Land is planning on attending. Your RSVP will confirm you have seen this evite & that you will send the $5 on Monday.
I had to pay for the meals already with my credit card (contracted for 25). Again, please confirm with me through the "Reply
now" on the right side of the invitation. This dinner is a required event. If there is a financial issue, please contact me,
and we will discuss this further.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Lori P.
Sincerely:
Allison, Bridget, Lori and
Tonja.
P.S. Have the girls bring their "Big sis / Little SiS gift to exchange on the night of the team dinner.
Thank you sooooo much, and thank an officer mom next time you see one! Alissa M.

Parade Time Change:
Lady Royales,
Time change for Homecoming :
All,
Because of the
overcast skies and possibility of storms, here are the latest and greatest plans.
·
Because of the overcast skies, we will be losing light faster than anticipated. That said, we will
be starting the parade earlier which means we need to get the word out. Katie Keyes already had requested that everyone
be lined up and ready to go by 6:30pm so we will be starting as close to 6:30pm as possible. That might mean the parade
is starting while we are still lining up people in the back of the line. We have a plan, but the largest part to be
communicated to all involved and the community is the fact that we will be more than likely starting earlier than 7pm.
·
If we are dealing with a light drizzle, we will proceed as planned. If we are dealing with rain,
we will make a decision about proceeding. Lightning will cancel the event
We need to make sure we are in line by 6:15 this evening.
Homecoming float- I have seen pictures or the float and
I am so proud of everyone for helping out and making our float look awesome. Good luck tonight :)

Homecoming Float UPDATE
Hi All,
The float building went great -
we are probably 80 % done. We will need only a couple of hours on Sunday to get things final. Crowns and
wands have been donated for our use - and to give out on the parade route (we probably have 75 of each). I still
need $20.00 from the some girls...Please look on the 'Members Only' page.
Please send the money in this week
to Connor --- thank you.

Float Planning Meeting 9.20.09 4:30 PM
There was an Evite sent out for
this meeting..if you did not get one please go to our "What's Goin On" Page for the contact info to RSVP.
"It's go time" to start plannning and making our float for homecoming. Together with our girls, we
will be discussing, planning and assigning tasks to create and make a float for the Keller High School homecoming parade.
Various school organizations make floats to represent their group. This year's theme is Disney, specificly ours is Cinderella.
I am going to be very up front with you all, this requires each Lady Royale and her family to contribute
in making this float. At this meeting, which begins promptly at 4:30 and ends promptly at 6:30 (Cowboy's game kickoff is at
7:00) a work schedule will be made, along with creating a financial budget for the float (which will be divided among the
team members) and who will be responsable for purchasing the materials. These are MAJOR ISSUES that you need to be involved
in. If you can not make the meeting, than one of the mom's of the social officers will be be calling you and letting you know
how you can help and your financial responsability. It would not be fair for only a certain amount of families to take on
this cost and the workload.
The last issue to be stressed, is that we really need for fathers to attend this meeting! The construction
of this float is where we need your expertise. A plan on building and the materials needed has to developed before we can
begin. Please attend so we can get this project underway. Moms we need your help too! Together we can make an outstanding
float to represent the Lady Royales and our school. See you Sunday along with our daughters.
Please Rsvp in the right hand corner of this invitation whether you or your husband will attend.
We hope both of you can. Because of the short notice, we need a reply on your atendance right away. Thank You
