| Harry volunteered to protect the wool from wind |
With hoards of field mice ravaging our country home, an efficient
mouser was needed. We obtained Harry but at months of age he was spotted munching on a half-eaten rabbit. He refuses
to catch mice or even to acknowledge their existence. Cheery birds and fuzzy bunnies are his prey of choice. Truely, his is
our only USELESS QUADRUPED! We have him scheduled for predator enhancement counseling. He was recently spotted
watching the satellite corporate TV channel. Within days of his entrance into the corporate world, Harry out-sourced
his mousing duties to two 4 month old imported (wild) kittens of which he is supervising (although Harry has virtually no
practical mousing experience).
Since the out-sourcing, less mice have been spotted. Thank goodness for
instinct!
