our Company History
 
Motors, Drives and Gears was formed in 2001 from two different Rep. Company's and then renamed. One Representative Company was based in Houston, TX [Motors Drives and Controls] and the other Representative Company [FT Industrial group] in Dallas Fort Worth, TX.
 
The [FT Industrial group] in Dallas Fort Worth, TX Represented some of the same Product Lines that Motors, Drives and Gears still has as Principals today, to include:
 
IIS (Industrial Indexing Systems) 
 
US Drives
 
2003 was a very exciting time for the Motors, Drives and Gears  DFW Sales Office, because we added the EE Controls  USA [Motor Control] Product Line.
 
In 2004 Motors, Drives and Gears  DFW added both EE Controls  Canada and EE Controls Safety for the MDG  Dallas Fort Worth, TX Sales Office, making it a very busy year introducing all the New Brands.
 
In 2005 and again in 2006 Motors, Drives and Gears  DFW also had several new Brands from EE Controls added, to include Products for the HVAC Market and for Machine Guarding.
 
In 2004 and 2005  IIS (Industrial Indexing Systems) expanded their System SOLUTION capabilities by adding several New Products and Brands. Again in 2006 IIS (Industrial Indexing Systems) expanded their overall System SOLUTION capabilities even more by adding additional New Products and Brands to their offering, as well as to their Engineered Systems SOLUTIONS.
 
In 2006 US Drives expanded their Drive Software and Network Communications connectivity capabilities, as well as added an optional embedded PLC.

Motors, Drives and Gears  DFW Web Site was published in 2004 making our Business growth process even more dynamic in 2005. In 2006 it was decided to drop DFW (Dallas Fort Worth) and to add Controls back to the Web site name.
 
Motors, Drives and Gears plus Controls is positioned for expendial growth in 2007, and is anticipating a further solidification of our relationships with our Wholesale Distribution and VAR (Value Added Reseller) Partners.

Motors, Drives and Gears decided in 2006 to add; plus Controls from one of the old Company names, as part of the New Company name, to reemphasize the Company's focus on all four separate groups of System Automation Products. It was also determined that an abbreviated Company name would be easier to use by our Customers and so MD&G + Controls was created. It also soon became apparent that several Portals in addition to the main Web site were required to better present the different categories of Products based on Application requirements, which resulted in the following Portals listed below.
