The MicroManager

Carotron Inc. is proud to introduce the MicroManager, the latest addition
to the Carotron Family.
General Description
The MicroManager 3000 series is a microprocessor based system controller designed to handle a wide
range of Industrial closed Loop Motion Control Applications such as:
CRG (Center Reference Generator) is
designed for Velocity Mode winding applications and for Torque Mode winding/unwinding applications.
PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative)
is designed for Velocity Mode applications that use dancers or loadcells
CTCW (Constant Tension Center Winder)
The simple user interface allows high level microprocessor Control of an Application but without
the need of a computer for configuration.
The Modbus RS485 communications port allows for all parameters to be read and for selected parameters
to be changed. Limited Programming capability is also available.
Cortex®LT 
The Carotron CORTEX® LT is a general-purpose micro-controller
with flexibility for many different applications. Driven by a powerful DSP (digital signal processor) the unit has the speed
and processing capability to handle even the most difficult tasks. The internal 64K word EEPROM and 64K word RAM provide ample
memory for firmware storage and data processing capacity. Each CORTEX® LT is supplied with MS-Windows (98 and higher) compatible
CORTEX® LT Link Software and a serial cable for interface between the CORTEX® LT and an RS-232 port on a PC.
