DC Retrofits
We are continually shipping our Carotron Elite PRO DC Drives
to customers who have the old Reliance, Fincor, SSD, Eurotherm, etc. Drives that have quit working.
One New Customer said he needed three trigger cards for a Reliance Drive
and that the service shop was asking $2,500 each. Carotron was able to supply him a new
Elite PRO with a 12 month warranty for $3,800.00 !
NOTE: Even with the distance between Carotron
in South Caroliana, UPS Next-Day service is always less expensive than the cost of downtime,
even for a for a local repair. If you get us an order by 3:30pm, or so, today, your customer can have the Drive by 10:00am
tomorrow.
* We are doing our best to keep EPN060-000 (50-60HP @ 460VAC) thru
EPN300-000 (300HP @ 460VAC) chassis units on the shelf.
Reduced-Voltage Starter Replacements & New Solid State Starter
Applications
Same goes for the SAF Opal Solid State Starters. Goal is 80Amp (50HP @ 460VAC) thru 420Amp (350HP @ 460VAC) in
stock. And all will have Integrated Bypass Contactors for better energy efficiency when the motor is up-to-speed.

Paper Machine haul-off rolls, etc.) In addition, they are some of the most rugged inverters available. They have been the
best choice for really tough Applications, including "Clean Power" 18 pulse, Digital reGen,NEMA Type
12 Enclosed and High Heat.
