Visitors can enjoy bicycling on the Withlacoochee State trail (which butts up to the property) http://www.dep.state.fl.us/gwt/guide/regions/crossflorida/trails/with_state.htm or canoeing and fishing nearby on the river. Boats can be rented is Nobleton boat and canoe rental. Locally we have several hometown restaurants. Down the road is the Istachatta General Store and Restaurant, the food is ok, its cheap and right down the road. On Fridays, they have fish fries and local “open mike” music and entertainment.  The Shamrock and Old Wolrd restaurants are in nearby Floral City. The Shamrock is know for their fantanstic chicken wings. They offer a wide variety of menu items and serve beer and wine until 11 p.m. The Old World is somewhat continental cuisine. They have a varied menu from steak, chick and fish and incredible prime rib. They are opened Tues through Sunday (their vacation months are from Father’s day to Labor day. The food is great and prices are moderate. They also serve top shelf liquor.
