Business Development and Coaching combines over 30 years of business experience

and my personal coaching skills.

The program model that I use for Business Development is built on the observation that

your business reflects who you are as a person, just as your personal life reflects what

is happening in your business.

Within this model, there are at least 14 personal business skills that will be instrumental in your

business success. Some of these skills include:

- Leadership

- Communication

- Time Management

- Marketing

- Financial

- Decision Making

- Planning & Visioning

- Sales

- And the ability to Balance your business and personal lives.

In addition to the personal business skills listed above, there are elements of a business that are critical to its continuing success. These are:

► Compelling Values, Vision/Mission Statement, and Goals for the future

► People – Motivated and inspired by the company vision and values

To perform at a high level, people need:

- A sense of recognition and achievement

- An understanding of the role they play in the organization

- A sense of both the organization's future direction and their future

within the organization

► Customer Needs – Recognizing and responding to their needs and wants

► Management that is forward thinking, motivated, and skilled as leaders

► Accountability systems – Financial, Performance, and Communications

► An Awareness of Opportunities, Challenges, and any Teamwork Breakdowns

If it all seems like a complex puzzle, that's because it is. A business person has to wear many hats and wear them well. And if each hat doesn't quite fit the way it should, they need someone on their team of advisors or on their management staff who it does fit. My role as a business coach is to help fill that void when you are a small business person or there isn’t an expert on your management staff. And if your particular need is not one of my areas of expertise, then I can bring in one of my associates who is an expert in that area.
