The club, founded by Bob Tarwacki (NY2M) and Matt Spano (KB2WGQ), was granted an operating license by the FCC on December 18, 1998. The purpose of the club is to foster good will among Law Enforcement Officers, Amateur Radio Operators and the public in general. In addition, by recognizing the valuable role that Amateur Radio plays in Public Service such as the National Traffic System, Amateur Radio Emergency Service, and the Military Affiliated Radio Service, the club is designed to present a recreational forum for the exchange of ideas amongst the providers of emergency services

Nets are frequently held on the 10 meter band in the vicinity of 28.850 and  28.355 Megahertz, Upper Sideband, on Sundays at 1400 hours EST.  Our Police Memorial Day Special Event Station was a stunning success! Certificates were mailed out to all participants. You may see a sample of the certificate by clicking here. It will definitely be an annual event. Watch this site and QST Magazine for further information.
