GROUND ZERO

 

The photos posted on this website were taken by me at ground zero of the World Trade Center disaster site using a Palm IIIxe and a Kodak Palm Pix. They were taken on Wednesday, September 12, 2001, while rescue efforts were in full swing. The photos need no explanation or editorializing. They speak for themselves quite eloquently. Thinking ahead, it occurred to me that after the rescue operations are finished, this will become the largest crime scene any of us have ever encountered.

 

God Bless all the Firefighters, Cops, and EMT's who selflessly battled horrendous conditions to save lives. Lodge #145 salutes you all.
