Born to Albert and Sandra Abbott in 1979, I spent the first six years of my life in Mission Viejo California. In
the Summer of 1984, we made the move over the Ortega Hwy to "Rancho California" (Temecula pre 1989).
My parents intent was to build their "dream home" in a rural setting and grow with a new community. Doing just that,
none of us have ever left.
At 15 I began my working career in a local movie theater, over the next 7 years I had managed every movie theater in Temecula
and Murrieta at one point. Working my way through College at Cal State San Marcos, I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology and
Business.
In my last year of studies at CSUSM, I began my Human Resource career at Pechanga Resort & Casino. Over
the next four years I worked to help make Pechanga Human Resources one of the most efficient HR offices in the Temecula Valley.
Managing a staff of 30 in an ever changing and growing business.
After working at Pechanga I went in to private consulting for Human Resources, specializing in new office set up, file
conversion, employee relations and state/federal laws.
In 2005 I began working as Human Resource Manager for the Home Depot. In 2007 I left that position to expand
my career in Finance, working for a family ran investment office in the Temecula Valley.
I have lived in and grown with Temecula for 22 years. Just as my parents decided to raise me in this community, so
have I chosen to keep my family here. My fiance` Michele and son Joseph who will be 2 in October.
Our commitment to this community and surrounding areas is strong. We are a down to earth couple, with pride in
our community.
My commitment to the people of Temecula is to restore the faith of publicly held offices by, "walking my talk" and
not just giving lip service.
