February 27, 2006 - I am back from Boulder City, NV and the NBL National. I am on top of things this morning and already have the Race Review written. In other news I just signed with Power Bar for another 2 years so my nutritional needs are still in check. The weather don't look so cool for this evening's riding festivities so I hope it holds out and I can go get some gates. This week is kind of lame cause I have to work Wednesday Through Friday and then racing Saturday and working again Sunday. -CWFebruary 27, 2006 - I am back from Boulder City, NV and the NBL National. February 23, 2006 -I am just about off to Boulder City, NV for the NBL National this weekend but I figured I put update with the So Cal National Race Review. It was lame basically cause I got so busy this week I didn't have time to write much. I did catch the power back in my legs so this weekend should be nothing but wide open. I also am now using the Sun Ringle 4 Stroke Hub and think it's awesome so far. I got my bike back in tune after 2 hours of Brushing Bakersfield mud off with my Pedros Pit Kit. Check back this weekend I just might update.. HA -CW
February 20, 2006 -I am back from Bakersfield and the National this weekend. The weather didn't turn out all that great but the only mud fest was on Friday. I made a main on Saturday and bonked on Sunday but at least I am feeling good for this weekend coming up. I have to work today but I will write some sort of review from the weekend and should post sometime this week so stay tuned for that. I got some news from the race but I will save that for the review so check back cause I am late for work. -CW
February 17, 2006 -Well depending on what weather man you want to trust the options for rain this weekend are either tonight, tomorrow or tomorrow night, so either way at some point I think the national I am leaving for this morning will be a mud fest. I just hope I didn't ride my ass off the past few months to peak in the rainfall. I am still hoping the weather is decent cause I sure don't like getting wet. I hope I can hold it together cause my routine got thrown off big time this week and I am just in burn mode right now so I better get going and try and pull it together. -CW
February 15, 2006 -Another economic driven holiday has passed and everyone wasted a bunch more money on meaningless. As for me I went riding last night so you can figure how my valentines went! The weather don't look so hot now for the weekend so I sure hope it holds out without rain. I need to spend the next couple of days resting cause I still felt burned last night at Cutting Edge. I have to work today and then it's off for the weekend at Bakersfield for the ABA So Cal Nationals. -CW
February 13, 2006 -So the meeting of the minds is over at congress and from the looks of it from what I hear they made some mediocre choices once again as for operating and the board. Thats the rumor I got from the attendees. I went to Orange Show yesterday and felt real good other than being burned out but I am going to take the week and tone it down so that I will be plenty fresh for the weekend. The weather report is looking better by the day so hopefully it wont be a mud fest. Tomorrow morning they are going to check on "little lance" cause they still think it's impossible! -CW
February 10, 2006 -It's Friday and I think Competition Partyness is starting today in Las Vegas so they can sort out the budget's and figure out what desolate city to open a track in and hold a national at. I was asked over and over to attend the thing again but I think I would rather stick in town and ride a little over the weekend but considering I have to work tomorrow I really don't know how far that idea will get me. I will be doing some gates at my local track tonight and then I will probably race Orange Show Sunday, then I better get some rest for rain forecasted in Bakersfield next weekend! -CW
February 8, 2006 -Many of you keep asking what all my hype is about this year and why the heck I ride so much now. Eyes are watching rather I am chasing district points or not. Well I don't think I am but when you ride as much as I do I guess you just fall into it. I keep telling you there are a bunch of exciting things coming up and if you take a look at my race schedule you can see all the traveling that is soon to come. Luckily I got great sponsors and don't have to count on my 16 Dollar state tax refund I got yesterday after I did my taxes. Time to hit wal mart I guess! -CW

February 6, 2006 -I spent yesterday riding at orange show but the turnout was a little low. I guess some foot ball game was on TV or something. I was dead tired trying to pull the first straight and then I was pure Jello legs after that so it was actually a tough day of riding but since I am working today it was worth taking the hit yesterday. After today i am off the rest of the week so i can throw down some last minute training before Bakersfield. My sponsor list for 2006 is complete so check out everyone that stepped up to support for yet another year! -CW
February 4th, 2006 -It's another Saturday at work while everyone goes to Super cross at Anaheim. At least I am off tomorrow to go race while everyone watches a football game. As for the rest of next week I think i am just going to keep up my pace of riding so that I don't bonk in another week for the ABA National. My real local track at horsemens opened back up tonight so it was sweet to go ride there again for something different and less of a drive. Yeah Right!! -CW
February 1st, 2006 -I almost forgot it was a new month and to archive the news. I was thinking of something to spice up the site a little but then I changed my mind and went riding instead. I spent the day training yesterday and buying CD's. I think I will do just about the same thing today. Did you notice that NBL stepped down the Leap Jacket to Leap Sweatshirt this year. Not that it matters but I found it funny when I got my letter yesterday how the Leap Jacket is now called a leap award! -CW
